Volleyball Recap: Edinburg Takes a Loss

Edinburg lost against Vela back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bobcats fell 2-0 to the Sabercats.

Makayla Olvera paced Edinburg's offense, picking up seven kills. Olvera got some help from Danika Hernandez and her six assists.

Edinburg's loss dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Vela, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Edinburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against McMullen County on the 23rd. Hopefully Vela paid attention to the Bobcats' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
