Bourbon County came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Dayton Greendevils as they made off with a 16-2 win. Considering the Colonels have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Jackson Norris was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Connor Buckler, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

Bourbon County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .714. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bourbon County's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Dayton, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-24-1.

Looking ahead, Bourbon County will take on George Rogers Clark at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Dayton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Paris at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
