Maple Hill came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Taconic Hills Titans. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 8-7 win the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Madison Camadine was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Halle Feldman, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last eight times she's played.

Maple Hill's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Taconic Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Maple Hill will host Germantown at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Taconic Hills, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Lansingburgh at 4:30 p.m.
