Football Game Preview: Bolivar Central vs. Jackson South Side

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Jackson South Side. On Friday they take on Bolivar Central at 7:00 PM. Jackson South Side are cruising in on a five-game winning streak while Bolivar Central are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.

Last week, Jackson South Side had a bit more than a touchdown to spare in a 17-10 win over Hardin County.

Meanwhile, Bolivar Central were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 30-35 to McNairy Central. It was a tough break for Bolivar Central, who improved upon an already decent score from the game before but lost both times.

Jackson South Side's victory lifted them to 5-0 while Bolivar Central's loss dropped them down to 1-4. We'll find out if Jackson South Side can add another positive mark to their record or if Bolivar Central can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Jackson South Side's step.
