Volleyball Recap: Pecatonica Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Pecatonica not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 10, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Monticello Ponies 3-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won three matches in a row.

Pecatonica walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-20, 25-14.

Loretta Tisch paced Pecatonica's offense, picking up 11 kills. Tisch got some help from Tatum Kurschner and her 15 assists. Tisch was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Pecatonica's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Monticello, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Pecatonica has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Juda on the 4th. As for Monticello, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Monroe on the 6th.
