Volleyball Recap: McCallum Comes Up Short

McCallum lost against El Paso back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Tigers.

Kafia Jackson-Woods paced McCallum's offense, picking up nine kills. Jackson-Woods got some help from Lexi Rosenblatt and her 13 assists.

McCallum's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for El Paso, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McCallum will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Andrew's at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th. As for El Paso, they will face off against Eastlake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
