Baseball Recap: Bassett Comes Up Short

Bassett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ganesha Giants. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Giants this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-0 defeat back in March.

Bassett's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Ganesha, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bassett is set to square off against their familiar foe Pomona at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ganesha will face off against rival La Puente at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
