Softball Game Preview: Gilbert Tigers vs. Desert Ridge Jaguars

For the second straight game, Gilbert will face off against Desert Ridge. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Gilbert Tigers challenge Desert Ridge Jaguars at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Gilbert is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Gilbert fell victim to Desert Ridge and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The Tigers have struggled against the Jaguars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Tyler Gordanier spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
