Basketball Recap: Beaumont United's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Beaumont United was the 50-46 winner over Barbers Hill when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Beaumont United Timberwolves took a hard 67-52 fall against the Barbers Hill Eagles on Tuesday.

Despite the loss, Beaumont United still got an impressive performance from Ashton Green, who went 8 of 19 on his way to 21 points and five steals. Green is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Ephriam Moore, who went 5 for 7 en route to 11 points and seven boards.

Beaumont United's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-9. As for Barbers Hill, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10.

Beaumont United wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-29 win against Lee on the 31st. Barbers Hill has also already played their next game (against Port Neches-Groves), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
