Soccer Game Preview: Hortonville vs. Kimberly

Hortonville is 0-8 against Kimberly since May of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Polar Bears will face off against the Papermakers.

Hortonville is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game back in May. They lost 3-0 to Winneconne. While losing is never fun, Hortonville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 161st, while Winneconne are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, Kimberly sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Fond du Lac on Thursday. The win continues a trend for Kimberly in their matchups with Fond du Lac: they've now won five in a row.

Hortonville's loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1. As for Kimberly, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3-2.

Hortonville suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Kimberly when the teams last played back in April. Can the Polar Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
