Basketball Recap: Springer Wins Going Away Against Varsity Opponent

On Saturday, the Springer Red Devils strolled past Varsity Opponent with points to spare, taking the game 56-38.

Springer is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Springer will challenge Cimarron at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Springer knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Cimarron likes a good challenge. As for Varsity Opponent, they will face off against Lab University Prep National at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lab University Prep National has ten straight wins, Varsity Opponent has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
