Volleyball Recap: First Baptist Academy Lions vs. St. John Paul II Academy Eagles

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but First Baptist Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the St. John Paul II Academy Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on seven straight.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-12, 25-17.

First Baptist Academy found their leader in underclassman Jade Rau, who had 14 digs. Rau is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

First Baptist Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-4. As for St. John Paul II Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-10.

First Baptist Academy will challenge Westminster Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. John Paul II Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
