Ranburne's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wellborn Panthers, sneaking past 6-4. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 12-4 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Ranburne back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ranburne will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Woodland at 4:30 p.m. on February 25th. As for Wellborn, they will challenge Jacksonville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
