Softball Recap: North Fremont Beats West Side for Their Fourth Straight Victory

North Fremont entered their tilt with West Side on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Pirates with a sharp 15-3 win. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Peyton Lenz made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off ten hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, North Fremont got a massive performance out of London Marsden, who went 3-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI. That's the most hits Marsden has posted over her last 11 contests. Brynnli Schultz was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and two runs.
