Baseball Recap: Scotts Hill Comes Up Short

If Scotts Hill was feeling good fresh off their 21-0 takedown of Liberty Tech Magnet last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Scotts Hill came up short against the Chester County Eagles on Friday, falling 18-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Cy Maness was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Silas Howard, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
