Soccer Recap: St. Paul Catholic's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

St. Paul Catholic lost against Shepaug Valley back in November of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Falcons lost 5-1 to the Spartans. The loss put an end to St. Paul Catholic's undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Paul Catholic fell to 1-1-1. As for Shepaug Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul Catholic will host Derby at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Paul Catholic will be up against Derby's rather soft defense (which has allowed 7.4 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Shepaug Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northwestern Regional at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
