Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rockford Auburn). Everything went their way against the Boylan Catholic Titans on Saturday as they made off with a 22-5 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won eight in a row.

Maylee Baker was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Baker was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Rockford Auburn got a massive performance out of Emmie Ostergard, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave Ostergard a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlotte Proper, who went 2-for-4 with six RBI and two runs.

Rockford Auburn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .658. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Rockford Auburn's record now sits at 15-10. As for Boylan Catholic, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-14.

Rockford Auburn wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-1 defeat against Harlem on the 19th. As for Boylan Catholic, they have also already played their next match, a 6-5 loss against Jefferson on the 19th.
