Softball Recap: Desoto Drops Season-High Score on Cedar Hill

DeSoto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 24-11 to the Cedar Hill Longhorns. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

DeSoto's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Cedar Hill, they moved to 3-14 with that win, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Coming up, DeSoto will face off against Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. DeSoto has given up an average of 16.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Cedar Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Horn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Hill has given up an average of 12.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
