South Range hadn't done well against Hubbard recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Raiders' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles a 2-0 shutout. The Raiders were shut out 4-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Raiders were just returning the favor.

The win made it two in a row for South Range and bumps their season record up to 6-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.5 runs across that stretch. As for Hubbard, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.
