Basketball Game Preview: Glenwood Springs Demons vs. Palisade Bulldogs

The Glenwood Springs Demons will head out to square off against the Palisade Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Glenwood Springs is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Coal Ridge just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Titans.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 56 points the game before, Palisade was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 44-26 bruising from Fruita Monument. The match marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Palisade's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-8. As for Glenwood Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.

Glenwood Springs came out on top in a nail-biter against Palisade when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 48-46. Will Glenwood Springs repeat their success, or does Palisade have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
