Despite the loss, Woodlawn-B.R. had strong showings from Christian Johnson, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 blocks, and Kelinee Stone, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. The contest was Johnson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Ahmad Price, who scored 4 points along with 8 assists and 5 rebounds.
Live Oak's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Woodlawn-B.R., their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
