It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but O'Donnell had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against the Kress Kangaroos as they made off with a 15-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won ten matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

O'Donnell is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.9 runs over those games. As for Kress, they moved to 13-10 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: O'Donnell beat the Kangaroos by a score of 8-1 later that day.
