There's no place like home for Ludlowe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They slipped by the Norwalk Bears 35-34 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ludlowe to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Love, who threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 73 yards on only ten carries. Liam Bond also helped with two scores in total.

Ludlowe pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 37.6 points this season. As for Norwalk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Ludlowe and Norwalk will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Falcons see the field they'll take on Trumbull at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. As for Norwalk, their break will end when they face Westhill at 2:00 p.m. on the 25th.
