Destiny Christian put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Varsity Opponent 25-10. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Zoey Landers made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and nine unearned) runs off seven hits. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kailey Gee, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Cienna Davis was another key player, scoring four runs while going 1-for-3.

Destiny Christian hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive contests.

Destiny Christian's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.
