Liberty Christian Academy has gone a perfect 3-0 against Northside Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to challenge the Lions at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses apiece dating back to last season.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Liberty Christian Academy's offense. They lost 28-0 to Bishop Rosecrans on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Northside Christian came up short against Genoa Christian Academy on Tuesday, falling 11-5.

Jonathan Peterson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two RBI. Braden Miller was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Northside Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Liberty Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Northside Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 6-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
