Baseball Game Preview: Brevard HEAT Firehawks vs. Cocoa Tigers

The Brevard HEAT Firehawks will square off against the Cocoa Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Brevard HEAT lost 17-7 to Titusville on Thursday. The Firehawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brevard HEAT saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Harmon, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Even though they lost, Brevard HEAT always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Cocoa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 27th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Merritt Island, falling 22-0.

Brevard HEAT's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Cocoa, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Everything went Brevard HEAT's way against Cocoa in their previous meeting on March 7th, as Brevard HEAT made off with a 22-8 victory. Will Brevard HEAT repeat their success, or does Cocoa has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
