Basketball Recap: Sterling Jets vs. Weeping Water Indians
Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 57-23 loss at the hands of the Weeping Water Indians. The Jets were down 43-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
It was another big night for Kalison Miller, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds for Weeping Water. Miller has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Brinkley Mcadams, who posted 14 points and seven boards.
Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Weeping Water, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.
