Volleyball Game Preview: Bear Creek Bears vs. Mountain Vista Golden Eagles

The Bear Creek Bears will challenge the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mountain Vista is facing Bear Creek at the wrong time: Bear Creek suffered their first home loss of the season on Thursday and they're likely out for redemption. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sabercats. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Castle View scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 26-28, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Mountain Vista waltzed into their match on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Raptors 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17, 25-23.

Bear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Mountain Vista, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-2.

Bear Creek came up short against Mountain Vista in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Bears avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
