Softball Recap: Winters Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Winters can now relate to. They lost 11-1 to the Durham Trojans on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost six in a row.

Winters saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Teagan Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Winters' defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Durham, their victory bumped their record up to 17-10.

Winters does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Durham, they have already played their next game, a 10-7 win against Colusa on the 21st.
