Softball Recap: Wrightstown Takes a Loss

Wrightstown lost to Marinette back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marines. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Charlie Bowker was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryn Amundson, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Wrightstown now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Marinette, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wrightstown will take on rival Oconto Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Marinette is set to square off against their familiar foe Denmark at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
