Basketball Recap: Hilton Head Prep Snags Seventh Win in Last Eight Games

Hilton Head Prep had won three straight home games and Courtney Campbell did her part to make it four on Thursday. The Hilton Head Prep Dolphins were the clear victor by a 62-42 margin over the St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers thanks in part to Campbell, who almost dropped a triple-double on 26 points, 13 assists, and nine steals. The match was her 23rd in a row with at least ten points.

Erin Cleary was another key player, going 7 of 11 en route to 20 points and three steals. That's the most steals she has posted since back in December of 2024.

Hilton Head Prep has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for St. John's Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

Hilton Head Prep will be playing at home against Colleton Prep Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. John's Christian Academy, they will head out to take on Dorchester Academy at 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
