Recap: Richfield Wildcats vs. Soda Springs Cardinals
On Saturday, Richfield got the win against Soda Springs by a conclusive 59-34. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-12.
Richfield got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hallie Janes out in front who scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Brielle Jolley, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals.
Richfield's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Soda Springs, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richfield will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Canyon View at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Canyon View is ranked 49th, while Richfield is ranked 38th). As for Soda Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Preston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
