Softball Recap: El Capitan Comes Up Short

El Capitan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-0 to the Los Banos Tigers. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Gauchos' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

El Capitan's record now sits at 0-13. As for Los Banos, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-7 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. El Capitan is set to square off against their familiar foe Merced at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Los Banos will take on rival Buhach Colony at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
