Volleyball Game Preview: Elk Lake Warriors vs. Blue Ridge Raiders

Elk Lake hasn't had much luck against Blue Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Warriors will host the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Elk Lake didn't have quite enough to beat Valley View and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Blue Ridge came up short against Abington Heights on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The loss was the Raiders' first of the season.

While Blue Ridge ultimately came up short, they really made Abington Heights work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24, 23-25, 25-20.

Elk Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Blue Ridge, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 14-1.
