            Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Skyridge). They put the hurt on the East Leopards with a sharp  16-2 win on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  victory of the  season.

 Murphy Dunn looked comfortable as he  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  strikeouts.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Miles Robinson, who  went 2-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple. Those  five  RBI gave  him a new career-high.  Rip Roberts was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
 Skyridge  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .618. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East only posted  an  OBP of  .250.
Skyridge's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for East, their loss was  their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which  dropped their record down to 0-3.
 Looking ahead, Skyridge will be playing in front of their home fans against Layton  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Skyridge is facing Layton at the right time seeing as Layton is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for East, they will be taking part in a tournament against Dixie  at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Dixie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6  runs per game  this season.
