Volleyball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Northeast Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lancers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Northeast, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central will take on rival Carver High School of Engineering & Science at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Northeast is set to challenge their familiar foe George Washington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
