The Browne Bruins's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They blew past San Luis 63-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Browne has posted since December 5, 2023.
Browne's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adam Chaffin led the charge by dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Emiliano Esquer was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Browne's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for San Luis, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Browne will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Carl Hayden Community at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th.
