Football Recap: Redondo Union Skates Past Leuzinger with Ease

While Redondo Union put up plenty of points on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Leuzinger. The Sea Hawks claimed a resounding 54-0 victory over the Olympians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sea Hawks.

Blair Nolen was a one-woman wrecking crew as she threw for 195 yards and five TDs while completing 94.1% of her passes, and also rushed for 35 yards and one touchdown. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in passer rating (167.9). Abby Luis was in the mix as well, providing Redondo Union with two scores.

Redondo Union didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Kayla Armstrong, Quinn Ziemniak, and Devin Watanabe picked up one apiece. Armstrong got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Redondo Union now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Redondo Union will host Woodrow Wilson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Leuzinger, they will take on Banning in a tournament on Friday.
