Volleyball Recap: Whiteoak Comes Up Short

Whiteoak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the North Adams Green Devils. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Green Devils when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-6, 25-11.

North Adams was led to victory by Addison Shupert and Paige Evans. Shupert had nine digs and one assist, while Evans hit 65.2% for 15 kills and eight digs and one block. Those 65.2% hitting percentage gave Evans a new career-high.

Whiteoak's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for North Adams, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Whiteoak has already played their next game (against West Union), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Adams, they will face off against Western Brown at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
