Soccer Game Preview: Wayland Academy vs. Campbellsport

The Wayland Academy Big Red will take on the Campbellsport Cougars at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wayland Academy is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Thursday. They lost 7-2 to Central Wisconsin Christian.

Meanwhile, Campbellsport came up short against North Fond du Lac on Monday, falling 18-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Campbellsport were already down 14-1.

Campbellsport's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Wayland Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Wayland Academy took their victory against Campbellsport in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3 score. Will the Big Red repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
