Football Recap: Naples Skates Past Fort Myers with Ease

Naples entered their tilt with Fort Myers on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 34-7 victory over the Green Wave. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Naples' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sam Sparacio led the charge by rushing for 181 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Sparacio's longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards. Jamar Jerome was another key back, rushing for 156 yards and one TD on only 11 carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Naples was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 425 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Naples has already played their next game, a 24-21 loss against South Fort Myers on the 10th. As for Fort Myers, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-21 defeat against Riverdale on the 10th.
