Soccer Recap: Timber Creek Comes Up Short

On Tuesday, the Timber Creek Falcons didn't have quite enough to beat the Keller Indians and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Indians are ranked 107th).

Timber Creek's goal came courtesy of Hugo Uribe, which was the first he's scored this season.

Timber Creek now has a losing record at 4-5-2. As for Keller, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3-1.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing V.R. Eaton the next time they take the pitch. Timber Creek will head out to face V.R. Eaton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Keller will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
