Softball Recap: North Davidson Black Knights vs. Central Davidson Spartans
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but North Davidson ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Central Davidson Spartans 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Black Knights in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won seven in a row.
Rileigh Barker spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
