Volleyball Recap: Douglas County Tigers vs. East Coweta Indians
Douglas County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the East Coweta Indians. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2015.
The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10, 25-8.
East Coweta can attribute much of their success to Hannah Haskins, who had three aces. The dominant performance also gave Haskins a new career-high in aces.
Douglas County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for East Coweta, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-16 record this season.
Douglas County is on the road again on Thursday to play Clarkston at 6:30 p.m. As for East Coweta, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Northgate at 5:30 p.m.
