East Clarendon lost to Scott's Branch last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The East Clarendon Wolverines managed a 41-36 victory over the Scott's Branch Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

East Clarendon found their leader in freshman Kierstin Woods, who posted 15 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Bailey Hicks, who earned seven points.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Siara Lundy, who had ten points along with five assists and five boards. Trayiona Maxfield was another key player, putting up ten points and eight rebounds.

East Clarendon's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Scott's Branch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

East Clarendon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-28 loss against Carvers Bay on the 2nd. As for Scott's Branch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 40-37 defeat against Kingstree on the 21st.
