Basketball Recap: Concord Academy Picks Up 14th Straight Win at Home

Concord Academy won the last time they faced Greensboro Day School and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles really took it to the Bengals for the full four quarters, racking up a 58-22 victory. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 30-point advantage.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Concord Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Justice Alexander, who went 7-for-17 on her way to 17 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. Another player making a difference was Jada Powell, who shot 75% from the field to rack up 14 points along with six rebounds and four steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Concord Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They are 6-2 when they've passed the ball that well.
