Basketball Recap: Littleton Comes Up Short

Littleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Lewis-Palmer Rangers 66-32. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-7.

Erica Levene and Samantha Hernandez Tobon certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Levene posted eight points, while Hernandez Tobon earned eight points and five steals. That's the most steals Hernandez Tobon has posted since back in January of 2024.

Littleton's record is now 3-8. As for Lewis-Palmer, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Littleton will host Westminster at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lewis-Palmer, they will welcome Air Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
