Softball Recap: Columbia Christian Comes Up Short

Columbia Christian fell victim to Taylor and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 1-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Columbia Christian now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Taylor, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Columbia Christian will take on rival Emerson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Taylor is set to face off against their familiar foe Hermitage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
