Blue Hen Flight - A recap Nov. 7, 2012

Middletown extended the longest winning streak in Blue Hen Flight - A this week by beating William Penn, 48-7. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.

Middletown led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on the Colonials.

DuPont's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Ramsey Lowery threw for 117 yards and Anthony Brinkley had 67 yards receiving. On the ground Aaron Limberry chipped in 84 yards. Shaquan Starling helped DuPont's passing attack out by catching one ball for 44 yards.

DuPont's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Lowery has thrown for 1164 yards and 10 touchdowns this season, while Brinkley has 17 catches for 363 yards. Lowery also leads the league in rushing with 369 yards.

The marquee game in Blue Hen Flight - A this week will be the clash between Appoquinimink and Concord. Appoquinimink enters the contest ranked 17th in the state, while the Raiders ranks 16th.

Glasgow made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,061 from 7,226.
