Soccer Recap: Solorio Takes a Loss

Solorio had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Joliet Central Steelmen by a score of 2-1. Miguel Daza was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Coming up, Solorio will challenge Tournament Team at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Joliet Central, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Plainfield South at 5:00 p.m. on September 5.
